Here, we've compiled the most common inquiries we receive from couples as they prepare for their special day. From details about our Northern Colorado venue, marriage receptions, ceremonies, capacity, and available dates to specifics on catering options and decoration policies, we understand that knowledge is key to a stress-free experience. When you book at Brookside in Northern Colorado, whether for a marriage reception or special event, we include: the venue, outdoor gardens, indoor & outdoor ceremony options, expansive indoor space, preparation suites, tables and chairs, cocktail tables, base linens, napkins, plate ware, flatware, glassware, ceremony setup, music and microphone for ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour.

What is the rental price and what's included?

Is the rehearsal included?

Yes! We include a 1-hour rehearsal on the week of your wedding!

Is there a curfew?

 Sunday-Thursday weddings must end by 10pm, and Friday/Saturday weddings must end by 11pm, due to local noise ordinances.

What hours are included?

We offer wedding ceremony and marriage reception packages at our Northern Colorado venue  that include 5 or 6 hours of event time, with options to add on additional event time. All packages include 2 hours for setup and one hour for breakdown, with options to add on additional setup time.

How early can we arrive at the venue on wedding day?

Two hours prior to the ceremony, or 11am if you add on our venue buyout option. You also can add setup time by the hour if you do not opt for the venue buyout.

Who handles set-up and tear-down?

The Brookside team takes care of all of the heavy lifting including tables and chairs at our venue in Northern Colorado, both in our reception hall indoors and outdoors across the event space., We offer decoration and equipment set up based on the custom venue design chosen by the client. The catering team takes care of placing all place settings, including china, flatware, glassware, and folded linen napkins. All that the client is responsible for is the setup and breakdown of their decor that is not being handled by a florist, decorator, or other hired vendor.

Is a coordinator included?

We do not include a day of coordinator, but we do have In-House Coordination options you are welcome to add on.

What is your vendor policy?

Brookside has an open vendor policy with the exception of Alcohol, Catering, Coordination, and DJ.​

Who are your required vendors?

Alcohol: Brookside has a Colorado State Liquor License, so all alcohol is provided and served by our professional bartending team. There are options for cash, hosted, and partially hosted bars. We have fully customizable bar packages to meet your needs!

Catering: Brookside requires that you hire full service catering to provide your food. Our onsite full service catering option, led by Brookside’s owner/chef Jamie and his talented team, has a variety of specially curated menus to meet your taste and budget.

DJ’s/MC’s can make or break your wedding day. Because of this, we have a great list of the best entertainment providers to ensure your wedding day goes on seamlessly.

Day Of Coordination To ensure that all event elements flow smoothly and according to plan, Brookside does require that you hire a professional day of coordinator for your wedding day. They act as the central point of communication, managing vendors, handling any unforeseen issues, and maintaining the schedule. Brookside does have an In-House coordination option, or a wonderful list of trusted, professional coordinators!

How many guests can Brookside hold?

We can accommodate up to 300 guests in our garden side solarium for events, ceremonies, and marriage receptions at our Northern Colorado location. We also have the Fireside Room, a smaller reception hall at our Berthoud, CO location that is available for smaller events and micro weddings, comfortably accommodating 20-50 people!

What are the sizes of your tables?

Our farmhouse tables are 8 feet long and 39.5 inches wide. We also have 6 foot banquet table options for your head table, guest book table, etc. and a 4 foot round sweetheart table!

Are there tastings for Brookside’s Catering?

Yes! We offer every booked couple a complimentary tasting!

Do you allow candles?

We do, as long as they are enclosed in glass/votive at all times. All LED candles are permitted!

Do you allow sparklers?

We do not allow sparklers, however You & Me Floral has cold sparkler options that we do allow.
